Keeping Northlands Green
Northlands recognizes the imprint that music festivals have on our environment and the importance of green initiatives to reduce that impact
We are 100% committed to sustainability and to lessening our carbon footprint every each year through the refinement of current initiatives and the addition of new ones.
Elm City Compost Initiative: with the help of this local partner and Northlanders’ support of our recycling and composting program, we have diverted over 5 tons of compost and 7 tons of aluminum from landfill in the past two years.
Eco-Band Initiative: through partner Green Disco, we offer 100% hemp Eco-Bands on our ticketing page. Each Eco-Band obtained results in 1 tree being planted in the White Mountain National Park and contributes $2 to our onsite sustainability programs. Please join our efforts to make Northlands a positive force for the planet! Supporters will receive their Eco-Band onsite with a voucher for 10% off selected merch items.
Please check out our FAQs for other tips on how you can contribute and check back here often for updates on our greening efforts.
